Key Responsibilities:

• Leading on safeguarding (adults & children), overseeing Section 42 enquiries, and chairing safeguarding meetings.
• Providing staff supervision, professional development, and mentorship for social workers.
• Holding a reduced CPA caseload to focus on leadership and service improvement.
• Acting as an AMHP (if qualified) and contributing to the AMHP Manager rota if suitably experienced.
• Promoting independence, social inclusion, and well-being for adults of working age.
• Supporting the Team Manager in delivering high-quality services.

Key Skills:

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in safeguarding and complex case management.
• AMHP qualification (desirable but not essential).
• Experience in a mental health setting, particularly within CMHTs.
• Knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act, and Making Safeguarding Personal.
