Summary: The Salesforce Technical Lead - Field Service Lightning (FSL) is responsible for driving the implementation of FSL solutions on the Salesforce platform, ensuring the use of standard functionalities and custom solutions as needed. This role requires strong technical leadership, collaboration with both technical teams and business stakeholders, and a deep understanding of Salesforce configuration and development. The candidate will guide junior developers, clarify user story requirements, and oversee the full software development life cycle. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance for FSL implementations and/or customizations including systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, and custom Lightning development.
  • Set best practices for integration and application development, deployment, testing, and iterative refinement for junior developers.
  • Clarify ambiguity with user story requirements and baseline estimation.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical team members, clients, and vendors to define, build, and deliver solutions.
  • Analyze and resolve Salesforce and FSL product-related issues/requirements with customers.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment.
  • Design and develop solutions leveraging Salesforce FSL features to support business functions and meet project objectives.
  • Develop technical solution documentation aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop, test, and document custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of FSL implementation.

The Field Service Lightning Technical Lead/ Senior Developer should be able to help drive the FSL implementation being done by our client. He/she should help build solutions on Salesforce that fully leverage standard out-of-the-box functionality as well as custom solutions where appropriate with the goal of keeping the platform as standard and scalable as possible. He/she should have excellent understanding of Salesforce platform configuration and development. He/she should also possess strong communication and influence skills to discuss, interact and collaborate with both technical team members and business stakeholders.

The Role

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance for FSL implementations and/or customizations including systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, and custom Lightning development
  • Provide technical leadership, setting best practices (e.g., integration and application development, deployment, testing, iterative refinement) to junior developers
  • Provide the necessary guidance to estimate user stories
