Summary: The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Deployment Manager will play a crucial role in a major digital transformation program for a leading enterprise organization. This position requires a blend of hands-on expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management to enhance customer engagement through sophisticated journey orchestration and campaign delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for building customer journeys, managing campaign delivery roadmaps, and providing strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and optimise multi-step customer journeys using Journey Builder.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and reusable customer engagement programmes.
  • Configure and manage journey entry sources including Data Extensions and CRM-triggered events.
  • Identify opportunities to expand customer life cycle coverage through new automated journeys.
  • Develop advanced personalisation strategies using AMPscript, dynamic content, and audience segmentation.
  • Leverage customer data from CRM and marketing platforms to deliver highly relevant customer communications.
  • Work with data and analytics teams to identify behavioural and propensity-based personalisation opportunities.
  • Ensure all communications comply with consent management and data privacy requirements.
  • Define and manage campaign delivery roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
  • Convert strategic marketing goals into actionable delivery plans and sprint-based execution.
  • Provide regular progress updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate dependencies across marketing, CRM, data, and technology teams.
  • Champion SFMC best practices across journey design, data management, deliverability, and campaign operations.
  • Conduct platform health checks and recommend improvements to data governance and customer data structures.
  • Establish deployment standards, QA processes, naming conventions, and operational documentation.
  • Support capability development through knowledge sharing and coaching of internal teams.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for marketing, digital, and technology stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships and provide strategic guidance on marketing automation initiatives.
  • Manage expectations around scope, timelines, risks, and change requests.
  • Deliver clear and concise presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.

  • Solid SQL experience for segmentation, automation, and reporting.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Email Campaign Deployment Manager to join a major digital transformation programme supporting a leading enterprise organisation.

This is a highly visible, client-facing role requiring a blend of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud expertise, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management. You will act as the senior SFMC specialist, helping to scale customer engagement programmes through sophisticated journey orchestration, advanced personalisation, and best-practice campaign delivery.

The successful candidate will be equally comfortable building customer journeys and automation workflows, as they are presenting delivery roadmaps and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Journey Development
