Summary: The role of Salesforce Developer focuses on delivering high-quality Salesforce applications specifically within the Waste and Chemical sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical skills in Salesforce development and collaborate closely with project managers and other developers. This position is a 6-month contract starting on March 25, requiring a hybrid working arrangement. The role is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new and replatform existing Salesforce applications using tools such as Apex, Flows, and LWC.
- Create custom objects, triggers, visual force pages, lightning components, apps, integrations, and reports.
- Utilize CI/CD through Salesforce DX and/or GitHub, Gearset, Jenkins.
- Employ data load and migration tools like Data Loader and Talend.
- Engage in Web/UI development using HTML, JS, CSS, and have a software development background in .Net, Java, or Javascript.
- Understand the Lightning Application Programming Interface (API) and REST API integrations.
- Use work tracking software such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Field Service.
- Maintain current Salesforce Administration Certification or Developer Certification.
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to deliver complex end-to-end solutions.
- Write unit tests and work with QA and UAT teams.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and peer review code from other developers.
Key Skills:
- Experience in Salesforce application development using Apex, Flows, and LWC.
- Proficiency in creating custom objects, triggers, and lightning components.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools like Salesforce DX, GitHub, Gearset, and Jenkins.
