Summary: The Salesforce Developer role involves joining a government body's Salesforce Delivery team in London for an initial 6-month contract. The position requires the candidate to work on-site 2-3 days per month and necessitates either holding or being able to attain Full UK Security Clearance (SC). The developer will utilize various Salesforce tools and components to enhance the platform's capabilities while ensuring alignment with best practices and market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Salesforce Industry cloud Development and Deployment using the Public Sector Solutions cloud solution.
- Implementation of Salesforce Flows to a high standard (e.g. screen flows, triggered flows, API flows).
- Implementation of Public Sector Solutions features and tools including OmniScript, FlexCards, Action Plans, and Document Generation tooling.
- Implementation of custom Apex classes and LWC components where needed.
- Driving the use of tools to improve productivity and maximize performance.
- Consolidating, conveying, and implementing functional, technical, and methodology knowledge.
- Ensuring the alignment of the solution with market trends and best practices.
- Supporting the delivery of balanced solutions (demand/viability).
- Building, testing, and documenting structural elements of the solution.
- Solving complex problems related to the area of expertise.
- Acting as an expert point of contact with the client's equivalent areas.
- Defining work standards or methodologies adapted to the solution.
- Managing Git version control of CI/CD deployment pipeline.
- Utilizing Jira / Confluence or equivalent for workflow and online documentation.
Key Skills:
- Strong Salesforce Industry development experience preferred.
- Public Sector Solutions preferred & Omnistudio must have.
- Experience in day-to-day development/configuration in Salesforce Industries Cloud.
- Skills in Apex (triggers, batch, web services).
- Integration experience is beneficial (Mulesoft / APIGEE / Connected Apps).
- Experience of JavaScript/Lightning components.
- Basic understanding of Apex sharing and security model.
- Experienced with Lightning Web Components.
- Skills in analyzing and problem-solving issues.
- Experience of prioritizing tasks and working to deadlines.
- Strong communication, time-management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Automated testing experience (e.g. Provar, Selenium) - desirable.

You will use the full arsenal of tools and components within Salesforce, including Flows, OmniScript, Apex and LWC. While you will report into your project leads, you can expect some level of client and project stakeholder interaction.
