Summary: The Salesforce Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer service platform by developing high-quality features and integrations using Salesforce technologies. This position requires a proactive and self-motivated individual who can independently drive projects and improve existing processes. The engineer will collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs and implement effective solutions, ultimately impacting the customer experience in the music industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain high-quality features/services using Apex, Lightning (Aura & LWC), Javascript, and integration patterns.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal/third-party services.
- Continuously improve automations related to Salesforce and other tools.
- Enhance the Case management process using Salesforce tools.
- Improve the maintainability and quality of features/services.
- Groom and recommend best practices based on colleague requests.
- Design and develop flexible and scalable solutions to meet business requirements.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand user needs and implement solutions.
Key Skills:
- Experienced Salesforce developer with knowledge of Service Cloud implementation.
- Familiarity with Salesforce APIs and out-of-the-box features vs custom solutions.
- Experience in building usable and scalable systems/applications.
- Knowledge of Omnichannel setup, routing, Email-to-case, and escalation rules.
- Understanding of email deliverability and troubleshooting.
- Experience using CI/CD tools for source-driven development.
- Strong preference for Salesforce certifications including Platform Developer I, II and Service Cloud Consultant.
- Ability to extend software development skills beyond Salesforce.
