Summary: The role of Salesforce Developer involves delivering Salesforce solutions using Apex and Lightning Web Components for a global IT consultancy supporting a Telecoms client. The position is hybrid, requiring both remote and on-site work in London and Newbury, with a contract duration of six months. The developer will be responsible for implementing designs, maintaining stable environments, and ensuring support activities meet agreed SLAs. Strong communication skills and experience in Agile environments are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Implement agreed designs and architectural direction for Salesforce projects.
- Deliver production solutions and support CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps.
- Engage with the Business Change Team to align Salesforce activities with strategic business goals.
- Ensure Salesforce support activities are delivered within agreed SLAs.
- Take ownership of complex or high-impact incidents as required.
- Work independently while collaborating closely within a delivery team.
Key Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and SOQL.
- Good knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket or similar).
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders.
- Salesforce Platform Developer certification preferred.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
