Summary: We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer for a contract role based in Milton Keynes with hybrid working arrangements. The position requires expertise in Salesforce development practices, leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to enhancing platform performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce technologies and experience in integrating with external systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Flows, and Triggers.
- Design and implement Lightning Components (Aura and LWC).
- Ensure platform security using best practices for role hierarchy, sharing rules, and field-level security.
- Strategize and implement plans to reduce technical debt.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive delivery and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using tools such as MuleSoft.
- Contribute to projects involving non-Salesforce technologies such as React, Angular, or Java.
Key Skills:
- Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification.
- Proven experience with Salesforce Lightning Component Framework (Aura and LWC).
- Hands-on experience with integration tools, particularly MuleSoft.
- Exposure to modern front-end or back-end technologies outside the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce security architecture and best practices.
- Confident leading development teams and fostering team collaboration.
- Financial services industry experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in client-facing environments.
- Able to manage work independently and adapt to shifting requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
