Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join a high-profile technology team at a major Investment Manager. The role involves designing, developing, and enhancing Salesforce capabilities while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions. The position is classified as inside IR35 and offers hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain solutions across the Salesforce platform.
- Build custom functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce and Salesforce APIs.
- Configure and customise Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud capabilities.
- Develop integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and Middleware technologies.
- Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to solution architecture.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure and aligned to platform best practices.
- Support deployments, releases and ongoing platform optimisation activities.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners and Architects throughout the delivery life cycle.
- Contribute to CI/CD initiatives and improve engineering practices across the team.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer within enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Salesforce configuration.
- Experience developing integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Experience working with source control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of Salesforce security, sharing and data models.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification essential.
- Platform Developer II and additional Salesforce certifications highly desirable.
- Financial Services experience would be advantageous.
