Summary: As a Commerce Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible for the comprehensive solution architecture of Salesforce Commerce Cloud, ensuring it meets scalability, security, and performance standards. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to lead architectural design from initial discovery to production deployment. Your role will involve defining integration architectures and providing technical governance throughout the Agile delivery lifecycle. This position requires extensive experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud and a strong understanding of eCommerce best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end Salesforce Commerce Cloud solution architecture.
- Lead architecture and solution design workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Define the overall Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Order Management and integration architecture.
- Design integrations with:
- Akeneo PIM
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Tax engine(s)
- Payment gateway(s)
- Inventory and fulfilment services
- Ensure scalability, security, performance and maintainability of the solution.
- Produce high-quality architecture documentation, solution designs and technical specifications.
- Provide technical governance throughout the Agile delivery life cycle.
- Work closely with developers, integration teams, business analysts and product owners.
- Support sprint planning, design reviews, System Integration Testing and go-live readiness.
- Provide architectural leadership during production deployment and hypercare.

- Extensive experience as a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Solution Architect.
- Proven delivery of Salesforce B2C Commerce (D2C) implementations.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Order Management.
- Experience designing complex enterprise integration architectures.

- Strong knowledge of eCommerce architecture, customer journeys and digital commerce best practice.
