Summary: The Salesforce CPQ Technical Lead role involves designing and developing Salesforce CPQ solutions while collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications. The position requires hands-on experience with Salesforce technologies and a strong understanding of overall systems architecture. This is a contract position based in London, with an emphasis on best practices and technical leadership in Salesforce implementations. The role is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Should involve in Salesforce CPQ solution design and development.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to determine and prioritize business requirements, transforming business requirements into technical requirements, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful cost-effective project execution.
- Create, run and present a measurable BRD/FSD (Blueprint) that aligns a customer's technical business needs to that of the Salesforce Solutions.
- Drives technical (HL and LL) design and development for major components of focused solutions.
- Offers best practice advice and recommendations to clients, often extending beyond Salesforce to topics around overall systems architecture and CRM strategy.
- Collaborate with Functional team to determine how best to implement solutions (decisions around declarative vs programmatic vs AppExchange, etc.).
- Overall knowledge of solution components (transformation platform, integration platform etc.) that are outside of the Salesforce platform.
- Hands-on knowledge of Platform Security, PII data security, Authentication & Authorization.
- Integration (REST, SOAP, Salesforce Connect etc.), Data Migration and Deployment Strategy.
Key Skills:
- Min 8 years to max 12 years' experience in technology (product and engineering) and a minimum of 4+ years in Salesforce CPQ Development exposure.
- Minimum of 4+ Years of experience in Sales cloud.
- Must have experience in LWC, Apex coding, flows, integration, AURA and JavaScript.
- In depth Salesforce CPQ Experience. In addition, CPQ knowledge must have functional and technical knowledge (Like Product configurations, Bundles, Quoting process, Pricing, Discounting and Workflows).
- Candidate should be able to lead the team and support application design. Proven experience taking highly conceptual business need and translate into a solution that can be effectively implemented.
- Demonstrated ability to design and develop complex solutions using Salesforce CPQ capabilities of Salesforce platform.
- Must have Salesforce Platform Developer 2.
- CPQ Functional associate certifications.
- Sales cloud certification.

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Salesforce CPQ Technical Lead based in London for an initial 6 month contract.
