Summary: The Salesforce CPQ Technical Lead role is a contract position based in London, UK, focusing on leading complex solution design and development for Salesforce CPQ projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Salesforce CPQ solution design, development, and technical delivery
- Liaise with stakeholders to gather, prioritise, and transform business requirements into technical solutions
- Create and present detailed BRD/FSD documentation aligned with business needs
- Drive high-level and low-level technical design for major solution components
- Advise on best practices for Salesforce and overall systems architecture
- Collaborate with functional teams to determine optimal implementation (declarative vs programmatic vs App Exchange)
- Ensure robust platform security, PII data protection, authentication, and authorisation
- Oversee integration (REST, SOAP, Salesforce Connect), data migration, and deployment strategies
- Lead and mentor technical teams, supporting application design and delivery
Key Skills:
- 8-12 years in technology (product/engineering), with 4+ years in Salesforce CPQ development
- 4+ year's experience in Sales Cloud
- Deep hands-on experience with LWC, Apex, Flows, Integration, AURA, and JavaScript
- Strong functional and technical CPQ knowledge (product configuration, bundles, quoting, pricing, discounting, work flows)
- Proven ability to translate business needs into effective, scalable solutions
- Experience leading teams and supporting application design
- Salesforce Platform Developer 2, CPQ Functional Associate, and Sales Cloud certifications required
