Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development on a minimum of 2 Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementations.
- Collaborate with Solution/Technical Architects to finalize solution design.
- Work with experienced developers on complex development tasks.
- Support the development team in completing tasks and building experience.
- Manage code versioning and release strategy.
- Design, develop, and test SFCC REST APIs and other integrations.
- Implement B2C Commerce & OCAPI APIs.
- Develop SFRA architecture and cartridges.
- Handle complex SFCC backend integrations.
- Utilize Java, JavaScript, XML, HTML/CSS/Tagging in development tasks.
Key Skills:
- Fluent in SFCC Script, UX Studio, and related development technologies.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in SFCC development/delivery roles.
- SFCC Developer Certification preferred.
- Experience in B2B, B2C, multi-site, and multi-country implementations.
- Lead development experience on at least 1 SFCC implementation.
- Participation in at least 2 further SFCC implementations.

Empiric are currently working alongside a leading car manufacture looking for a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Tech Lead. Our client is one of the fastest growing organisations in the World, with renowned training. They are looking to grow their Commerce Cloud function and are keen to hire talented salesforce experts within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud Platform.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Must of Lead Development on minimum 2 SFCC implementation
- Good command of English, both orally and in writing
- Work with Solution/Technical Architects to finalise solution design
- Work with experienced Developer on complex development tasks
- Support rest of dev team in completing tasks and building experience
- Code versioning and release strategy
- Fluent in SFCC Script, UX Studio and other SFCC-related development technologies
- Able to design, develop, and test SFCC REST APIs, DW Pipelets, and other front and Back End SFCC integrations
- Well versed in B2C Commerce & OCAPI APIs and their implementation
- Managed runtime understanding is an advantage.
- SFRA architecture understanding and cartridges development
- Complex SFCC Backend integration experience eg Address/Shipping/Tax validation, Payment authorization, dynamic pricing, OMS
- Java and JavaScript experience, XML, HTML/CSS/Tagging
