Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a Development Operations team responsible for delivering and enhancing internal system tools and customer-facing services. This role is critical for ensuring that development projects are well-defined and successfully delivered through effective business analysis and stakeholder engagement. The Business Analyst will collaborate with various teams to align project objectives and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with internal business users, external customers, and technical delivery teams to define and align on project objectives and requirements.
- Proactively engage with stakeholders to communicate progress, manage expectations, and address risks or concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
- Elicit, analyse, and document business and customer requirements, ensuring clarity and traceability from concept through to delivery.
- Conduct business analysis to a standard that enables accurate scoping, estimation, planning, and successful project outcomes.
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
- Continuously review and enhance business analysis approaches, tools, and documentation standards to improve quality and efficiency.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of systems delivery processes, supporting a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within software development or systems delivery environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience producing clear and structured requirements documentation (eg user stories, process flows, functional specifications).
- Comfortable working across multiple initiatives and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
