Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with client stakeholders, consulting teams, Salesforce architects, developers, and delivery teams.
  • Define business needs and document requirements.
  • Create user stories and support Salesforce solution delivery.
  • Translate business needs into Salesforce-ready requirements.
  • Support Agile delivery teams and Salesforce implementations.
  • Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
  • Maintain strong communication with technical stakeholders and client business users.
  • Support features from discovery through production release.
  • Work in a fast-moving, highly collaborative enterprise environment.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Salesforce Functional Consultant.
  • Experience with Service Cloud and Salesforce implementations.
  • Strong hands-on understanding of the Salesforce platform and configuration concepts.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to document details accurately.
  • Ownership mindset and ability to support features through production release.
  • Ability to work with technical stakeholders and distributed delivery teams.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Service Cloud Consultant preferred.
  • Experience creating process flows, data mapping documents, and UAT plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst in Mountain View, CA.

Summary:
The Salesforce Business Analyst will work closely with client stakeholders, client's consulting teams, Salesforce architects, developers, and delivery teams to define business needs, document requirements, create user stories, and support Salesforce solution delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong Salesforce foundation, ideally coming from a Salesforce Admin, Functional Consultant, or hands-on platform background before moving into business analysis or product-focused work. This person must be able to understand the business problem, translate it into clear Salesforce requirements, and stay involved through build, testing, and production release.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Salesforce Functional Consultant, or Salesforce-focused Product Owner
* Experience supporting Agile delivery teams
* Experience supporting Salesforce implementations, enhancements, or transformation programs
* Experience with Service Cloud
* Experience writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements, and functional documentation
* Strong hands-on understanding of the Salesforce platform
* Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration concepts, including objects, fields, workflows, Flows, permissions, data model, and basic automation
* Strong communication skills with the ability to ask thoughtful questions and document details accurately
* Strong ownership mindset with the ability to support features from discovery through production release
* Ability to translate business needs into Salesforce-ready requirements
* Ability to work directly with technical stakeholders, architects, developers, and client business users
* Ability to work in a fast-moving, highly collaborative enterprise environment

Preferred Qualifications:
* Salesforce certifications such as: Salesforce Administrator; Salesforce Advanced Administrator; Service Cloud Consultant; Platform App Builder; Business Analyst Certification
* Prior experience as a Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Functional Consultant, or Salesforce Power User before moving into BA/product work
* Experience with Experience Cloud or Salesforce portal solutions
* Experience with Sales Cloud
* Experience working with highly technical engineering stakeholders
* Experience working with offshore or distributed delivery teams
* Experience creating process flows, data mapping documents, UAT plans, and release-readiness documentation
* Exposure to Agentforce or AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities
* Exposure to Gemini, enterprise AI tools, or AI-assisted business process design

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
