Summary: The Salesforce Business Analyst role involves joining a major transformation project aimed at enhancing CRM processes and implementing automated workflows on the Salesforce platform. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, and support user acceptance testing. This is a contract position based in Reading with a hybrid working arrangement. The role is classified as inside IR35 and offers a competitive day rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs to capture detailed business requirements.
  • Map existing processes, identify gaps, and define future-state processes aligned with Salesforce capabilities.
  • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, and User Stories.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce architects and developers to validate solutions and ensure best practices.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing by preparing test scenarios and validating requirements.
  • Utilize ADO, Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, and MS Office Suite.
  • Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies for iterative delivery.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in CRM or Salesforce projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related modules.
  • Expertise in business process mapping, gap analysis, and requirements documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with BRD creation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to join a major transformation project, focusing on improving current CRM processes and implementing new automated workflows and products on the Salesforce platform. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a large-scale Salesforce transformation initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Conduct workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs to capture detailed business requirements.
  • Business Process Documentation: Map existing processes, identify gaps, and define future-state processes aligned with Salesforce capabilities.
