Summary: The Salesforce Business Analyst will join a global organization's CRM transformation team on a 12-month hybrid contract. This role focuses on driving process automation and improving operational efficiency through scalable Salesforce solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional requirements and guide delivery teams in solution design and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and analyse business requirements; translate them into detailed functional specifications.
- Map existing processes (“as-is”) and propose improvements (“to-be”) with a focus on efficiency and automation.
- Define and manage a clear backlog of requirements, prioritising based on business impact.
- Liaise with developers and QA teams to ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.
- Facilitate workshops and sessions such as requirements gathering, system demos, and UAT.
- Champion the adoption of Salesforce within the CRM team and wider business.
- Analyse data to uncover trends and recommend improvements to user journeys and operations.
- Monitor dependencies, manage risks, and escalate issues when needed.
- Support users with training, documentation, and troubleshooting.
Key Skills:
- 3+ years in a Business Analyst role, ideally in enterprise-level environments.
- Proven experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is essential.
- Strong background in business process mapping, writing user stories, and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Able to communicate complex technical concepts in clear, business-friendly terms.
- Confident working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Highly organised, with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams and deadlines.
- Industry experience in eCommerce, marketplace, or tech-led environments is a bonus.
