Summary: The role of SalesForce B2C Commerce Cloud Architect involves architecting and delivering scalable E-commerce solutions on the Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud platform. The position requires expertise in designing complex commerce architectures, particularly using Salesforce's PWA Kit framework. The architect will also be responsible for developing integrations with third-party systems and leading architecture decisions. This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months, classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing complex commerce architectures with a strong emphasis on Salesforce's PWA Kit framework to build modern, API-driven storefronts
- Architect and design Salesforce B2C Commerce solutions that meet business goals and technical requirements
- Develop and customize integrations between B2C Commerce and third-party systems including ERP, CRM (Salesforce clouds), payment providers, and marketing platforms
- Design and implement custom APIs and extensions using OCAPI, SCAPI, and SCAPI hooks to support unique business needs
- Lead architecture decisions around PWA Kit implementations, including SSR, data fetching, state management, and deployment approaches
- Experience designing multi-site, multi-currency commerce solutions
- Expertise in integrating Salesforce Commerce Cloud with external Back End systems via APIs
- Strong knowledge of performance tuning, caching strategies, and Front End optimisation in commerce sites
- Familiar with DevOps practices relevant to Salesforce B2C Commerce, including version control, automated testing, and deployment pipelines
- Understanding of security best practices including PCI DSS compliance for E-commerce applications
- Awareness of SEO strategies specific to E-commerce platforms
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, CDNs, and infrastructure automation
Key Skills:

My client, a market leader in their field require a Salesforce Technical Architect to architect and deliver scalable E-commerce solutions on the Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud platform.
Your Cv must evidence recent experience with the following:
- Designing and implementing complex commerce architectures with a strong emphasis on Salesforce's PWA Kit framework to build modern, API-driven storefronts
