Summary: The Salesforce Administrator role is a contract position focused on maximizing the potential of Salesforce within a client's organization, particularly in supporting Contact Centre operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for platform administration, user support, and process optimization to ensure the system delivers immediate value. Experience in Contact Centre operations is highly desirable, as the role involves aligning Salesforce capabilities with business needs. The position requires a proactive approach to training, data management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of the Salesforce platform, including managing user accounts, permissions, roles, and security settings.
  • Tailor Salesforce using declarative tools such as Flows, Process Builder, page layouts, validation rules, and more to meet business needs.
  • Ensure data integrity and security by managing data imports, exports, backups, and cleansing activities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for user queries, providing training and guidance to ensure the system is used effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing solutions to optimise Salesforce for maximum efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Work with internal IT teams and external partners to integrate Salesforce with other business systems and ensure seamless functionality.
  • Manage platform updates, ensure adherence to best practices, and implement a structured approach to change management.
  • Collaborate with business teams, particularly Contact Centre stakeholders, to understand their needs and translate them into Salesforce solutions.

Key Skills:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Lightning Experience, configuration tools, and security model.
  • Experience in Contact Centre operations or similar customer-facing environments is a significant advantage.
  • Proven ability to analyse business challenges and deliver effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Familiarity with data tools such as Data Loader and knowledge of data cleansing best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train and support users at all levels.
  • Familiarity with AppExchange products and basic knowledge of Apex/Visualforce is a plus.
