Summary: The Salesforce Administrator/Developer role at a leading tech consultancy in Bristol requires a skilled professional to optimize processes and enhance system capabilities on the Salesforce platform. The position involves both development and administrative tasks, working closely with various stakeholders to configure, integrate, and deploy solutions. This is a hybrid role on a 6-month contract, offering a competitive daily rate. The position is classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Configure Salesforce using declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Reports & Dashboards).
  • Develop Apex triggers, classes, batch processes, and integrations following best practices.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems (financial tools, billing systems, contact centre solutions, etc.).
  • Enhance Sales & Service Cloud for better business processes and user experience.
  • Apply best practices in Salesforce administration, including security, data management, and automation.
  • Identify and implement automation and process improvements.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce releases and leverage new features.
  • Work in an Agile environment, focusing on iterative development and improvement.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in Salesforce development and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Reports, Dashboards, Permissions & Profiles).
  • Proficiency in Apex (triggers, classes, batch processing, integrations).
  • Experience with Lightning framework (Aura components, LWC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Understanding of Salesforce data modelling, custom objects, and junction objects.
  • Experience with deployment tools and version control (ANT, GIT, Change Sets, Data Loader).
  • Integration experience with third-party tools (financial, billing, contact centre applications).
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with API development and REST/SOAP integrations.
  • Knowledge of database management and SQL.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to create technical documentation and provide training to end-users.
  • Salesforce Administrator and Developer certifications.
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Pardot.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices within Salesforce.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies.
