We are looking for a strategic, commercially minded leader to drive the development and delivery of Sales Plays within an assigned sector. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, sales enablement and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong focus on accelerating growth through best-in-class communications planning and pitching. You will be responsible for shaping sector-specific go-to-market strategies, enabling sales teams with high-impact Sales Plays, and working closely with senior stakeholders to execute against business priorities. Success in this role requires strong leadership, the ability to influence across functions, and a passion for building scalable, repeatable sales excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end strategy, development, training and execution of Sales Plays aligned to your assigned sector, ensuring they are insight-led, commercially compelling and scalable across the organisation.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert and advocate for communications planning and pitching best practice, evangelising these approaches across teams and partnering with sector leadership to embed them as standard ways of working.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including analytics, design, measurement, sponsorships, creative and product specialists, to develop integrated, cross-product solutions that address sector needs and unlock growth opportunities.
  • Develop and contribute to sector-specific business plans, working in alignment with senior leaders to define priorities, translate strategy into execution, and deliver with operational rigour.
  • Drive revenue growth across a targeted portfolio of customers by identifying and prioritising the largest opportunities, and partnering with specialist sales managers and Industry Managers to pitch, influence and close complex, high-value deals.
  • Support the enablement and upskilling of sales teams through training, coaching and ongoing support, ensuring Sales Plays are consistently adopted and effectively executed in market.
  • Use data and performance insights to evaluate impact, refine approaches and continuously improve Sales Plays, storytelling and go-to-market effectiveness.
