Summary: The Sales Ledger Lead at Newson Health Limited is responsible for managing the Sales Ledger and overseeing the Sales Ledger Clerk within the finance team. This role involves invoicing, debt management, and financial reporting, while also supporting the clinic's mission to provide compassionate care to women experiencing menopause-related issues. The position is a fixed-term contract for maternity cover, with a hybrid working arrangement available after the probationary period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Line management of the Sales Ledger Clerk and support for the Accounts Assistant.
- Maintenance and updating of the invoicing spreadsheet.
- Invoicing patients after appointments and for additional services.
- Sending debt reminders and letters to patients with outstanding balances.
- Accurate reporting of debtors and payment links.
- Blocking and unblocking patient accounts.
- Processing refunds and associated reporting.
- Cash allocation for stripe/square batches and BACS.
- Indemnity reporting including under 18s report.
- Answering queries on the Admin Teams chat.
- All error tracking reporting.
- Checking, processing, renewing, and reporting on the annual prescription membership.
- Ad hoc invoicing through Xero for events and room hire.
- Assisting the finance team with ad hoc financial reports.

Position The role of Sales Ledger Lead: As the Sales Ledger lead you will have responsibility for the Sales Ledger and line manage the Sales Ledger Clerk.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Line management responsibilities for the Sales Ledger Clerk, with dotted line responsibilities to the Accounts Assistant
- Overall responsibility for the Sales Ledger including but not limited to:
- Maintenance and updating of the invoicing spreadsheet
- Invoicing patients after appointments
- Invoicing patients for additional services such as blood tests
- Sending debt reminders to patients with outstanding balances, including debt letters
- Accurate reporting of debtors
- Reporting on payment links
- Blocking and unblocking of patient accounts
- Processing of refunds, and associated refund reporting
- Cash allocation stripe/square batches, and BACS
- Indemnity reporting including under 18s report
- Answering queries on the Admin Teams chat
- All error tracking reporting
- Responsible for checking, processing, renewing and reporting on the annual prescription membership

Job Type Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
Location: Based at our office in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon, with the opportunity to work up to two days per week remotely on a hybrid basis, following successful completion of probationary period.
Schedule 37.5 hours per week with hours to be performed Monday to Friday between 09:00 to 17:00
