Our UK customers are supported by the sales engineers, whom are available to help at every stage of a project from development and installation to support and aftersales customer service.*Location*Bandeath Industrial Estate, Stirling FK7 7NP 15,000ft warehouse and sales offices*Job Description*Area to Manage: Covering key accounts in Central Scotland so the ideal candidate should live within the area.Days worked: Monday to Friday but hours may vary to meet the requirements of the role.We are looking for an engaging, enthusiastic and approachable Sales Engineer with strong networking skills, who can strengthen relationships with new and current customers/suppliers. It is essential that the candidate has a sound practical engineering or electronic knowledge/background, whilst having the ability to problem solve and think outside the box , to come up with cost effective solutions for our customers. This position will consist of in-house product training (which may include training events with our key suppliers) and career development to Key Account Manager within 18 months following a proven track record of account development.Main Duties Include Managing existing accounts while developing relationships and profitability Developing new business by highlighting new/emerging markets, customers and products Visiting customers Providing demonstrations Quoting customers and following up leads Working with both customers and suppliers to come up with solutions to suit our customer s requirements Providing technical advice and support Ability to analyse technical datasheets and extract information effectively Reporting and updating the Sales Director on existing and developed business applicationsThe Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Requirements At least 5 years experience as a sales engineer within the manufacturing/electronics industry At least an HNC (or equivalent) in Electronic/Mechanical Engineering Good numerical skills Customer service Positive outlook Team player Ability to problem solve and use your own initiative Good planning skills Good communications skills Computer systems literateJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: 40,000.00- 50,000.00 per yearAdditional Pay Performance bonusBenefits Company car Company events Company pension Life insurance On-site parkingSchedule Monday to FridayEducation A-Level or equivalent (preferred)Experience Electrical engineering: 5 years (required) Sales: 3 years (required)Language English (required)Licence/Certification Driving Licence (required)Work Location: In person
