Summary: The Sales Engineer role focuses on providing technical pre-sales support for a software solution in the accounting sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team with technical pre-sales enablement, onboarding, and client support.
- Engage enterprise customers and present technical solutions to drive sales processes.
- Create technical assets to improve team efficiency and integration processes.
- Collaborate with sales, business development, product, and engineering teams.
- Translate technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
- Travel as needed to support customer engagements and industry events.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions consulting, or technical sales.
- Proven expertise in engaging enterprise customers and driving sales processes.
- Strong technical acumen in SaaS, APIs, cloud computing (AWS, Azure), and financial/accounting technologies.
- Understanding of API tools and technologies such as swagger, REST API, GraphQL, Postman, and OpenAPI.
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
- Experience with enterprise software in fintech, accounting, or financial services sectors.
- Proficiency in CRM software, project management tools, and documentation platforms.
