Summary: The Sales Consultant role at Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing involves managing sales for shared ownership and new build properties across a broad geographic area, including Cambridge, Peterborough, and Huntingdon. The position requires delivering sales budgets while ensuring excellent customer experiences and compliance with health and safety standards. The consultant will engage with various stakeholders throughout the sales process and is expected to work weekends. This is a fixed-term contract for 18 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver sales budget and contribute to sales performance across the region.
- Manage the customer journey from site launch to completion.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders throughout the sales process.
- Support the marketing team in implementing sales strategies.
- Monitor void properties to ensure ongoing security.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Provide excellent customer care throughout the sales process.
- Manage sales office and show home operations.
Key Skills:
- Experience in a sales and customer service environment.
- Expert knowledge of shared ownership sales products with at least 3 years of experience.
- Understanding of the legal process of shared ownership and outright property sales.
- Strong IT and numeric literacy with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in delivering excellent customer care.
- Sales office and show home management experience.
