We connect companies and event planners with the UK’s best mobile food trucks and bars — delivering standout catering experiences for weddings, corporate & large scale events. We’ve worked with a number of clients including the European Tour and the University of Glasgow, and we’re scaling rapidly across the UK. As our first dedicated sales hire, this is your chance to shape the sales function from the ground up and be part of a fast-growing start-up that champions small businesses and celebrates incredible food experiences.

- About the Role We’re looking for a Business Development & Sales Lead to drive new business growth and outbound sales across the UK. This is a sales focused role, and requires someone who is experienced and effective in prospecting, cold calling, building pipelines, and closing deals. This role is about creating opportunities, achieving ambitious sales targets and building lasting client relationships that will help bring more great food to events. You’ll be working directly with the founder to refine our sales playbook, streamline processes, and grow revenue as we expand nationally.

- Required Experience Sales & Business Development: Proven track record in B2B new business development (3+ years). Experience in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, achieving sales targets, and managing client accounts. Strong negotiation skills with a history of successful contract negotiations and vendor management. Confident with cold calling and outbound prospecting. Consistent history of hitting or exceeding ambitious sales targets. Skilled in communication, negotiation, and objection handling. Comfortable working with CRM systems (HubSpot experience a bonus). Highly motivated, tenacious, and target-driven. Basic understanding of digital marketing tools (preferred but not essential). Catering and Food Service Expertise: Passion for food, hospitality, or events is a plus, but sales ability comes first. Client & Supplier Relations: Track record of building and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers, including negotiating contracts and managing expectations. Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. Start-Up Experience (Preferred): Experience working in a start-up environment or small business, with the ability to adapt to changing needs and contribute to the company’s growth.
