With hundreds of millions of footsteps already captured, we’re now ready to take our next big stride, and we’re looking for a Sales and Marketing Director to lead the charge.

The Mission As Sales and Marketing Director, you’ll own and evolve the full commercial function: driving revenue growth, building our marketing funnel to deliver high-quality SQLs, optimising our HubSpot-driven sales engine, and scaling our presence across international markets. You’ll combine strategic thinking with executional precision, using data, creativity, and emerging AI tools to position Pavegen as the category leader in human-powered energy and data experiences. This role is ideal for an ambitious commercial leader with a proven record of delivery and leadership, ready to move towards a future CEO-level path.

What You’ll Do Head of sales role with oversight and strategic direction across the marketing function with a head of marketing reporting into you. Lead, mentor, and inspire a growing sales and marketing team, creating a culture of accountability, innovation and business development. Design and execute the commercial strategy across B2B, smart city, government, and brand experience markets. Build outbound sales channels and standardise our go-to-market approach to complement strong inbound demand. Manage a sales team of six people. Integrate the latest AI tools and digital platforms to drive lead generation, CRM precision, and data-led decision-making. Develop strategic partnerships that expand Pavegen’s global footprint. Work closely with the marketing team to deliver qualified leads through a joined-up sales and marketing engine. Represent Pavegen externally in boardrooms, on stage, and across global networks as a confident, credible voice for innovation and sustainability. Report directly to the CEO and contribute to high-level business strategy and future fundraising efforts.

What We’re Looking For Required: 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing, business development, or commercial leadership, with at least 5 years managing a sales team. At least 5 years running a sales and marketing function against KPIs. Proven success driving growth in fast-moving technology or sustainability-focused environments. Skilled in CRM and digital sales ecosystems, using data as the backbone of your process. Proficiency with AI tools and automation for prospecting, outreach, and performance optimisation. A track record of building strong teams and hitting ambitious targets. Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident engaging senior corporate and government stakeholders. A natural networker and thought leader with a strong, authentic LinkedIn presence. Ambition to grow into a future CEO or company leader role.

Preferred: Experience scaling early-stage or mission-driven tech companies. Understanding of sustainability, smart cities, or experiential technology sectors. Comfortable working in both creative and analytical contexts, from growth strategy to storytelling.
