Sage Intacct Consultant

Robert Half have partnered with a growing digital learning organisation based in London, is seeking a commercially minded Sage Intacct Consultant on an initial 4-6 month contract to support the continued development of its finance systems, processes, and data environment. The business operates across multiple platforms, including a CRM, marketing automation platform, Sage Intacct, and a bespoke booking system. As the business continues to modernise its systems landscape, this role will be responsible for improving data integrity, increasing automation, reducing manual processes, and ensuring accurate, timely information flows between operational and financial systems. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between Finance, Operations, Sales, and external system providers, helping to drive continuous improvement and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the existing team with Sage Intacct and related platforms, maintaining system structures, accounting dimensions, workflows, and controls
• Review and improve existing finance and operational processes, identifying opportunities to reduce manual intervention and spreadsheet dependency, and implement automation where appropriate
• Support the integration between CRM, marketing, finance, and booking systems, working with third-party providers and internal stakeholders to improve data flows
• Develop and maintain data governance controls, perform reconciliations between source systems and financial records, and investigate/resolve data discrepancies
• Develop and maintain management reporting and operational dashboards, supporting accurate and timely financial information for management, audit, and operational teams
• Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and future implementation projects, including documenting business requirements and participating in solution design
• Manage user access, permissions, and system documentation, and support users across the business with Sage Intacct queries and training
• Support finance transformation initiatives and business change projects, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training materials, and process documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with Sage Intacct specifically, ideally within the education sector or a multi-platform environment
• Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct and familiarity with CRM/marketing platforms (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot)
• Strong understanding of data integration, reconciliation, and master data governance across finance and operational systems
• Experience identifying and implementing process automation to reduce manual/spreadsheet-based workflows
• Comfortable acting as a bridge between Finance, Operations, Sales, and external system providers
• Strong analytical skills with experience producing management reporting and dashboards
• Experience supporting system upgrades, implementations, or finance transformation projects, including UAT
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Contract Initial 4–6 month contract 1 day per week on-site in London Competitive day rate available
