Key Responsibilities:

This full-time contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to significant new developments in North Yorkshire for a 7/7 rotational position.
Role Overview
Act as a role model and reinforce a workplace culture where safety is paramount. Provide an environment for on-site teams to challenge and act on unsafe behaviors without repercussions. Participate in investigations into accidents and high potential near-miss incidents. Collect and summarize specific risks within the working area and implement plans to avoid these risks. Review and assess the impact of critical risks, and monitor the effectiveness of critical controls. Manage safety systems within the work area, including assessing team members' fitness for duty. Engage in physical safety checks, interventions, and coaching. Create safety reports and manage analysis of available data. Facilitate continual safety checks to ensure all safety requirements are met. Support site visits by internal and external visitors to ensure adherence to site safety systems. Support the development of procedures for the new Safety Management System (SMS). Implement and maintain a Safety Monitoring Plan aligned with Crop Nutrients Safety Management System. Monitor compliance and identify opportunities to improve safety performance. Conduct site inspections to identify and escalate non-compliance. Investigate incidents within the work area, establish root causes, and implement learnings.
