Summary: This role is for a Support Engineer at a leading global tech company known for its innovative SaaS products. The position involves liaising with technical teams in major client companies across EMEA and APAC, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting UI development with JavaScript. The role offers a hybrid work model and is initially a 12-month contract within IR35. Candidates should have a solid background in support and relevant technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This Support Engineering role will require you to liaise with technical counterparts in major client companies across EMEA & APAC and support the integration of the SaaS – this will require you to have exposure to UI development and be a keen JavaScripter.
  • You will troubleshoot technical issues, and find a workaround.
  • You will work as part of a highly technical, collaborative, and friendly global tech team.

Key Skills:

  • A solid background in support – ability to troubleshoot, find workarounds, and support high-end, high-value clients.
  • Good exposure to UI development with scripting skills – JavaScript.
  • Tech tools & skills such as CSS, Angular, Ajax, or React would be very useful.
  • SQL skills are also needed.

The Role
  • This Support Engineering role will require you to liaise with technical counterparts in major client companies across EMEA & APAC and support the integration of the SaaS – this will require you to have exposure to UI development and be a keen JavaScripter.

  • You will work as part of a highly technical, collaborative, and friendly global tech team

The Offer
  • This role offers an annual salary of £41,000 based on relevant experience.
  • It’s a hybrid work model - 2 days a week onsite in Staines, Surrey in state-of-the-art offices
  • The role will commence initially as a contract (12 months) - PAYE - within IR35 with a strong possibility of conversion.
