Summary: The S/4HANA Programme Manager role involves leading the planning, execution, and delivery of a complex SAP S/4HANA implementation within a secure environment, requiring active UK Government Security Clearance (SC). Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of the SAP S/4HANA transformation programme, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budget.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including SAP consultants, developers, business analysts, and third-party vendors.
  • Develop and maintain programme plans, RAID logs, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
  • Act as the primary interface between the business, technology teams, and external partners.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) requirements, particularly within a secure and regulated environment.
  • Coordinate data migration, change management, and user training activities.
  • Oversee cutover planning and business readiness for go-live and post-go-live support.
  • Report programme progress to executive sponsors, steering committees, and relevant government or regulatory bodies.

Key Skills:

  • Active SC Clearance - must be currently valid.
  • Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA programmes (end-to-end life cycle).
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules (eg, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain).
  • Experience working within secure or highly regulated environments (eg, Public Sector, Defence, or similar).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong project governance, financial management, and reporting experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and third-party vendors.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
