UiPath RPA Developer

Location: Newcastle (Hybrid Working)

Contract: Initial 6 months (extensions likely)

Robert Half are working with a leading client and are recruiting a number of experienced UiPath RPA Developers and/or RPA Architects to join a high-profile digital transformation programme based in Newcastle.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale automation initiatives delivering robust and scalable robotic process automation (RPA) solutions across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement automation solutions using the UiPath platform.
  • Build reusable, scalable and maintainable RPA workflows.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects and technical teams to understand business requirements.
  • Perform unit testing, system testing and support UAT activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring optimal bot performance.
  • Produce clear technical documentation and adhere to development standards.
  • Support deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement of automation solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience developing solutions with UiPath.
  • Excellent understanding of RPA development best practices and software development life cycle.
  • Experience with UiPath Studio, Orchestrator and REFramework.
  • Knowledge of API integrations and web services.
  • Experience working with SQL databases.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Desirable

  • UiPath Advanced Developer Certification.
  • Experience delivering RPA solutions within the public sector or large enterprise organisations.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform, .NET or C#.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git or other version control tools.
