Summary: The Royalty Finance Specialist role at BMG involves ensuring the accuracy and completeness of royalty-related data across multiple platforms, particularly SAP, as part of a key strategic project. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strategy for data cleaning of historic royalty balances in SAP.
• Review, reconcile, and validate royalty balances in SAP for accuracy and consistency.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in royalty data between systems.
• Assist in the migration of royalty data in SAP and ensure proper data formatting.
• Prepare reports for the Project Manager on data cleansing and migration progress.
• Collaborate with royalty, Finance, SAP, and Technology teams for data integration.
• Identify opportunities to streamline data cleansing processes through automation.
• Participate in E2E testing of key systems post-migration.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in music accounting and royalty finance processes.
• Experience in data management or data cleansing, preferably in the music industry.
• Familiarity with music royalty systems is highly desirable.
• Understanding of music publishing and/or recording contracts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation).
• Proficiency in SAP is preferable but not required.
• Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
• Qualified Accountant preferred.
