Summary: The Rollout Manager will oversee the laptop deployment and cutover process for a global insurance client undergoing a significant infrastructure transformation. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills to ensure timely delivery and readiness across various teams. The position is contract-based for 12-18 months and is classified as inside IR35. The role involves a mix of on-site and remote work, primarily based in Central London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and Lead the Laptop deployment and cutover process.
- Performing T-minus checkpoints with Support teams and Project Managers highlighting areas of focus to ensure delivery Go-Live dates are maintained.
- Apply a detail-focused reporting lens, tracking launch risk readiness & decisions in build up to cutover.
- Monitor and report on progress against the laptop deployment plan.
- Maintain a standard laptop deployment checklist, monitor and communicate readiness via dashboard.
- Develop detailed deployment plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Engage and Communicate plans with local management, local technical teams and key project stakeholders.
- Ensure post cutover support and Hypercare plans are established across all workstreams and key support teams.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years' experience of managing complex infrastructure deployment programmes in a regulated environment -FS, Insurance, Banking.
- Experience with Infrastructure & Operations projects, with oversight of Technologies across the Networks, Workplace and Data Centres disciplines.
- Excellent MS Excel manipulation capabilities eg formulas, large dataset handling. High proficiency in MS Power Apps, especially Power Automate.

I'm working with a global insurance client, currently going through a business wide infrastructure transformation programme, covering tens of thousands of users. This role is focused on managing and leading laptop deployment and cutover process as the business integrates various entities following a sustained period of M&A activity.
The role:
- Manage and Lead the Laptop deployment and cutover process.
