p>We are seeking an experience Rocky Linux Engineer to design, manage, and optimize Linux-based infrastructure. The role emphasizes Rocky Linux expertise, image creation and hands-on Linux administration for both virtual and bare-metal Servers. 
This role is an Outside IR35 position.
Minimum 5+ years in the industry with extensive background in Rocky Linux.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and manage Rocky Linux systems.
- Create and optimize custom Linux images using Packer.
- Automate workflows via Scripting (Bash, Python) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Administer Linux systems: patching, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Manage bare-metal Servers, including provisioning and hardware diagnostics.
- Apply security hardening and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with Rocky Linux or other RHEL-based distributions.
- Expertise in Linux administration, troubleshooting, and Scripting.
- Experience with Packer for image creation and management.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
