Main Purpose of Role We are looking for an experienced Risk Project Support Consultant to support a large-scale Risk and Regulatory transformation programme within a leading financial-services organisation. The role will provide hands-on project and delivery support across multiple Risk workstreams, helping coordinate governance, planning, reporting, dependencies and delivery activities. The ideal candidate will have strong Project/Change experience within financial services, preferably gained within a Risk, Regulatory Change or Compliance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day project and programme support across multiple Risk workstreams.
- Support project planning, delivery and milestone tracking.
- Maintain project plans, actions, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Coordinate activities and deliverables across Risk and programme stakeholders.
- Prepare programme reporting and materials for governance forums.
- Support working groups, governance meetings and action tracking.
- Monitor workstream progress against agreed deliverables.
- Identify delivery risks, issues and dependencies and support appropriate escalation.
- Coordinate dependencies between different workstreams and stakeholder groups.
- Assist with requirements gathering, analysis and documentation.
- Maintain accurate project and programme documentation.
- Support Project Managers and Risk leads with hands-on delivery activities.
- Contribute to consistent programme governance and reporting.
Skills and Experience
Essential Previous Project Support, PMO, Project Coordination or Business Change experience within financial services.
Hands-on experience supporting complex transformation or change programmes.
Strong project governance and reporting experience.
Experience maintaining project plans, risks, issues, actions and dependencies.
Strong organisational and documentation skills.
Ability to operate across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience working within a complex financial-services environment.
Desirable Experience supporting Risk, Regulatory Change or Compliance programmes.
Banking or capital-markets experience.
Understanding of Risk frameworks, governance, policies and controls.
European regulatory experience.
Experience supporting European regulatory-change programmes.
Experience working across both Risk and Regulatory Compliance stakeholders.
Exposure to Enterprise Risk, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Operational Risk or Liquidity Risk.
Experience supporting programmes involving multiple Risk workstreams.
