Summary: The Risk Manager role at Summer-Browning Associates involves collaborating with risk champions within a telecommunications client to assess risk exposure and control effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:
- Determine CTO's exposure to risk against its risk tolerance.
- Identify emerging risk trends and assess their impact on CTO's risk profile.
- Evaluate control effectiveness in design and operation.
- Identify internal control issues and concerns.
- Support quantitative and qualitative risk assessments for financial planning.
- Facilitate management of issues and challenge management mitigation plans.
- Track risk mitigation actions and provide updates/reporting.
- Monitor key risk indicators and forecast based on past performance.
- Monitor loss events and forecast expected losses with and without management action.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Risk Manager within telecommunications.
- Ability to conduct RCSA or CRSA.
- Understanding of technology, preferably within telco.
- Experience in Operations and Conduct; understanding of financial or capacity risks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Willingness to undergo SC level vetting.
