Summary: The Risk Analyst (Cass Consultant) role is a 6-month contract position based in London, requiring a skilled professional to support daily CASS Office operations and drive change initiatives. The successful candidate will engage with various stakeholders and assist in compliance with FCA CASS regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Support with daily CASS Office BAU duties (eg oversight of custody shortfalls cover, CASS escalation policy)
- Assist in the review and update of the firm's CASS rule to Risk and Control Matrix.
- Support with completing CASS impact assessment on new business activities within GM as part of Total Capture exercise and update the CASS applicability Matrix
- Drive forward various change initiatives to improve the CASS operating environment
- Ensure necessary changes to CASS policies and CASS Office procedures are made timely
- Assist in producing management information for the GM Client Asset Oversight Committee
- Support with other CASS duties as and when delegated by management
- Establish a strong rapport with all CASS stakeholders
Key Skills:
- At least 3-5 years' experience of working in a CASS Office BAU or CASS audit role
- A strong understanding of FCA CASS regulation
- Familiarity with Global Markets activities
- Analytical mindset and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Solid work ethic and high level of motivation.

Lorien's UK leading Investment banking client are currently looking for a highly skilled Risk Analyst to join the team on an initial 6-month contract.
Key responsibilities of this role:
- Support with daily CASS Office BAU duties (eg oversight of custody shortfalls cover, CASS escalation policy)
