Summary: The Risk C# Agile Developer role focuses on developing high-performance computing solutions within a multidisciplinary team in an investment bank. The position requires expertise in C# and experience with distributed systems, as well as familiarity with Agile methodologies. The developer will work on re-engineering counterparty risk systems and enhancing an analytic platform in collaboration with the Quant team. This role supports hybrid working arrangements and is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance high-performance computing solutions using C#.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary squads implementing Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Re-engineer counterparty risk systems utilizing big data solutions and distributed technologies.
• Implement Continuous Delivery practices to streamline development and production processes.
• Work with the Quant team to improve the analytic platform and its functionalities.

Key Skills:

• Excellent software design, coding, documentation, and analysis skills.
• Proficient in C# development using MS Visual Studio.
• Experience with High Performance Computing and Parallel Programming techniques.
• Familiarity with Continuous Delivery and DevOps tooling.
• Experience with enterprise-scale distributed systems.
• Knowledge of Acceptance Testing Frameworks.
• Valued experience with distributed technologies such as Oracle Coherence, Apache Cassandra, Kafka, etc.
