Summary: The Risk Based Inspection Engineer role involves working for a major Oil and Gas company in Nanterre, France, on a full-time contract basis for 12 months with potential for renewal. The position requires expertise in inspection and corrosion engineering, focusing on preparing corrosion reports, collaborating with various teams, and utilizing RBI methodologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Corrosion Loop Reports to identify deterioration mechanisms and establish inspection policies and plans.
- Collect information from various sources to prepare RBI system upload data files.
- Collaborate with Process, HSE, and Operation & Maintenance teams to properly identify corrosion loops and establish inspection policies and plans.
- Utilize knowledge of applicable codes and standards related to RBI methodology (API 580/581) to prepare inspection plans.
- Produce high-quality deliverables with accurate data and logical assumptions.
- Report on activities performed on a weekly basis to the RBI Lead on the assigned project.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in inspection and corrosion engineering.
- Familiarity with material selection activities and documentation developed on EPC projects.
- Strong understanding of applicable codes and standards related to RBI methodology (API 580/581), integrity and inspection, materials, fabrication, and inspection of static equipment and piping.
- Proficiency in RBI software (Meridium) and fluent in English.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in RBI methodology.
