Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations Forbury Reading or Ty Calon Cardiff.

Salary: £29,504 - £34,757 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role

As an Insolvency Advisor, you will manage customer insolvency cases across a range of business types, ensuring accurate documentation, financial integrity, and compliance throughout the process. You will investigate and verify insolvency status, support risk assessments, and play a key role in resolving financial obligations while protecting the company’s interests.

You will Investigate and verify insolvency cases using multiple data sources, creating and maintaining accurate case files and trackers. Manage cases from initial review through to final closure, ensuring documentation is complete, balances are accurate, and financial adjustments are applied where necessary. Support customer transitions through change of tenancy processes, issuing communications and monitoring responses to maintain continuity of service. Conduct risk assessments and, where required, issue statutory demands to mitigate financial exposure. Contribute to audit-ready processes by maintaining trackers, completing reports, and ensuring compliance with legal and policy standards.

You have

Experience working with financial, legal, or compliance processes, ideally including insolvency or debt resolution. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple cases accurately and consistently. Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to maintain accurate records and trackers. Good communication skills, able to liaise with customers, colleagues, and external stakeholders effectively. A proactive and structured approach to work, with confidence in following procedures and improving processes where appropriate.
