Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and record right to work checks in line with Home Office and NHS guidelines.
- Support with the administration of visa sponsorships, including issuing Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) for re-sponsorships of existing employees.
- Provide training and guidance to managers of employees with temporary right to work in the UK.
- Prepare reports for audits and ensure timely reporting to the Home Office.
- Monitor changes in immigration law and support the updating of policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in ESR (NHS – HR System) and Case Tracker systems and provide reports as directed by Workforce Information Manager.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Right to Work Officer to join our Workforce Information team. The postholder will have advanced excel skills with the ability to manipulate data as required to support with compliance and reporting requirements. In this role, you will ensure MKUH remains fully compliant with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations and legislation as well as managing and maintaining our records to safeguard our sponsor license and support a diverse, legally compliant workforce.
