Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Right Sizing Officer for a Local Authority Client in North London.

In this role, you will support tenants to downsize to more suitable homes, helping reduce under-occupation and make better use of housing stock.

Duties:

  • Support tenants through the process of moving to smaller or more suitable homes.
  • Assess and process applications for downsizing and incentive schemes.
  • Prepare and manage documentation, payments, and accurate case records.
  • Promote right-sizing opportunities and liaise with internal teams and partners.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Experience working in social housing, allocations, or tenancy management.
  • Strong background in providing customer support and housing advice.
  • Proven ability to manage caseloads and maintain accurate records.
  • Confident using housing or case management IT systems.

What's on offer:

Salary: £20ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
