Summary: The RF Design Engineer role involves the design and development of board-level components within RF systems, specifically at mmWave frequencies. The position is a 6-month contract based at multiple UK sites, requiring 4 days on-site work per week. Candidates with component-level design experience at 20GHz and above are particularly encouraged to apply. The role is classified as outside IR35, with a competitive hourly rate based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development of board-level components within RF systems.
- Board-level component design at mmWave frequencies including PAs, filters, couplers, and synthesizers.
- Component selection (ICs/MMICs).
- System line-up analysis.
- Thermal management analysis.
Key Skills:
- Experience in board-level component design at mmWave frequencies.
- Knowledge of RF components such as PAs, filters, couplers, and synthesizers.
- Experience with component selection (ICs/MMICs).
- Ability to perform system line-up analysis.
- Experience in thermal management analysis.
- Component level design experience at 20GHz and above is preferred.
