Summary: An experienced Revit MEP Technician is sought to support a growing pipeline of building services projects within a well-established engineering consultancy. This long-term contract opportunity is outside IR35 and involves producing coordinated BIM models and detailed MEP drawings using Revit. The role requires collaboration with engineers and design teams across multiple sectors. The position offers flexible working arrangements and the chance to work on a variety of technically interesting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and develop Revit MEP models for mechanical, electrical and public health building services systems
- Create detailed BIM models, layouts and construction drawings for design and delivery stages
- Coordinate MEP services
- Participate in BIM coordination and clash detection processes
- Assist engineers with the preparation of schematics, layouts and technical drawings
- Maintain model accuracy and ensure compliance with project BIM standards
- Support the development and maintenance of Revit families, templates and libraries
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Revit MEP Technician within a building services consultancy or engineering environment
- Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit MEP
- Experience delivering coordinated BIM models and technical drawings for building services projects
- Understanding of UK BIM standards and coordination processes
- Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple projects
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Experience using Navisworks for clash detection and model coordination (desirable)
- Familiarity with UK building regulations and building services standards (desirable)
- Experience supporting engineering teams across various design stages (desirable)
