Role Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical Reverse Logistics Specialist to support returned inventory and recovery operations across the UK and Europe. This role focuses on using data to optimise reverse logistics processes, improve recovery rates, monitor vendor performance, and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse return and liquidation workflows to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and increased recovery value.
- Monitor third-party vendor performance against SLAs, including turnaround times, accuracy, throughput, and recovery rates.
- Produce and maintain operational and financial reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Conduct inventory, sales, and invoice reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and financial compliance.
- Partner with Finance and Operations teams on accruals, vendor payments, and performance reviews.
- Support compliance with UK and EU customs, VAT, and logistics regulations.
- Investigate operational issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend data-driven solutions.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years' experience in reverse logistics, supply chain, operations, or a related analytical role.
- Experience managing third-party logistics or operational vendors.
- Knowledge of UK and EU logistics environments is advantageous.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience analysing large datasets.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
- Ability to translate data into actionable operational recommendations.
- Excellent attention to detail and financial accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
