Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare calculations for inter-companies
  • Monitor Billing mailbox – assigning disputes and noting operators
  • Monitor incoming payment notifications and flag for fund receipt
  • Prepare calculations for selected operators
  • Handle invoicing, queries, and track payments
  • Carry out Senior Reviews of calculations prepared by Revenue Accountants
  • Follow up on unprocessed invoices and investigate reasons for adjustments
  • Update automation database with commercials
  • Prepare balance confirmation letters for audit requests
  • Prepare journal entries with supporting documents
  • Prepare month-end revenue accruals, variance analysis, and account reconciliations
  • Prepare workings for miscellaneous adjustments and bonus accruals
  • Prepare accounts receivable reports for the Commercial Team
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required

Detailed Description From Employer:

Global Gaming and Technology Organisation seeks a Revenue Accountant to join their business on an initial 6 months temporary assignment. The Revenue Accountant will partner with the Billing and Commercial Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing to customers. This role is to start asap and would suit a candidate who is highly organised and strong attention to detail.

Duties of the Revenue Accountant include :

  • Prepare calculations for inter-companies
  • Monitoring of Billing mailbox – assigning disputes accordingly and taking note of any operators.
  • Monitoring incoming payment notifications in Billing mailbox and flagging these to ensure that funds are received.
  • Prepare calculations for selected operators
  • Handling invoicing, queries and tracking of payments
  • Carry out Senior Reviews of calculations prepared by Revenue Accountants
  • Follow up on any invoices not processed by automation and investigate reason to adjust this prior to the following month
  • Update automation database as required with commercials.
  • Balance confirmation letter for audit requests from vendors and operators as necessary
  • Prepare journal entries, ensure adequate supporting documents are attached
  • Prepare month-end revenue accruals; revenue variance analysis; account reconciliations; month-end tie outs
  • Prepare workings for any miscellaneous adjustments
  • Bonus accruals
  • Accounts receivable report preparation for Commercial Team
  • Ad-hoc duties
