Summary: The Retail IT Project Manager will lead the delivery of strategic RFID and inventory visibility programmes for a global luxury retail client. This role focuses on end-to-end programme delivery, enhancing stock accuracy, supply chain efficiency, and omnichannel capabilities. The position requires collaboration across business and IT to ensure successful project rollout and adoption. The contract is for 3-6 months, with a hybrid working arrangement involving 2-3 days onsite and travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading end-to-end project delivery (planning through to deployment and hypercare)
  • Creating and managing detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and dependencies
  • Establishing and running governance structures (SteerCo, reporting, executive updates)
  • Owning RAID logs and proactively managing risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Coordinating multiple workstreams across retail, supply chain, and technology teams
  • Managing third-party vendors and delivery partners
  • Supporting delivery across stores and warehouse/distribution centre environments

Key Skills:

  • Strong background as a Retail IT Project Manager
  • Proven experience delivering complex technology programmes within retail environments
  • Hands-on expertise in project planning and delivery, governance and reporting, risk and RAID management
  • Experience working across supply chain and warehouse/DC operations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement across business and IT functions
  • Experience within luxury retail, fashion, or apparel (desirable)
  • Exposure to RFID or inventory visibility programmes (desirable)
  • Experience working with ERP, POS, WMS, or retail systems integrations (desirable)
  • Prince2 (or equivalent) certification (desirable)

A leading global luxury retail client is seeking an experienced Retail IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic RFID and inventory visibility programmes across stores and distribution environments.

This is a high-impact role focused on end-to-end programme delivery, driving improvements in stock accuracy, supply chain efficiency, and omnichannel capability.

The Role

You will take ownership of delivering complex retail technology initiatives, working across business and IT to ensure successful rollout and adoption.
