Summary: The Respiratory Technician role in the West Midlands involves conducting lung function tests and providing patient management within a Community Diagnostic Centre. The position requires experience in respiratory testing and adherence to company protocols, with no weekend or out-of-hours work expected. Flexibility in contract type is available based on individual circumstances. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager and ensure high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Lung Functions, nebulisation and reversibility testing
  • Working to the Company's Standard Operating Procedures at all times.
  • Provide patient management and preparation for procedures
  • Ensure a high standard of patient/client care including the cleanliness and stocking of clinical areas
  • Train in Basic Life Support
  • Complete administrative & QC procedures
  • Maintain and update professional knowledge including new procedures and techniques
  • Possess a clear Enhanced DBS check

Key Skills:

  • Hold a ARTP certificate - Highly desirable
  • Relevant Spirometry experience in a healthcare setting - Essential
  • Maintain a confident and professional approach with patients - Essential
  • Be comfortable working independently - Desirable

Respiratory Technician | West Midlands | £30-£35ph

Castlefield Recruitment is delighted to be working with an established Independent Healthcare Provider, who are committed to delivering the highest quality healthcare.

The successful Respiratory Technician will be have experience in the field or similar area, conducting testing and reporting. You will report to the Operations Manager and provide a testing service within a Community Diagnostic Centre.

There is no weekend or out of hours work required. Flexibility can be provided around working as an interim or on a permanent contract, on a case by case basis.

Duties;

  • Perform Lung Functions, nebulisation and reversibility testing
