The Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Resourcing Team Administrator to support a high-profile recruitment programme delivering talent into large-scale national projects.

You will be working closely with the Resourcing Manager and will play a key role in coordinating recruitment activity across a high volume of permanent and contract vacancies, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process from initial vacancy through to onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Resourcing Manager across a large-scale recruitment programme.
  • Coordinate recruitment activity for permanent and contract vacancies.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of vacancies, candidate progress and recruitment timelines.
  • Liaise confidently with hiring managers, recruitment agencies and other stakeholders to provide regular updates on recruitment activity.
  • Monitor the status of vacancies and ensure hiring managers are kept informed throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support onboarding activities, ensuring all pre-employment and onboarding tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Maintain recruitment records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant processes.
  • Identify and resolve administrative issues proactively to keep recruitment campaigns progressing.
  • Assist with scheduling interviews, coordinating offers and supporting the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Produce reports and recruitment updates for the Resourcing Manager and wider project team as required.

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience in a recruitment administration, resourcing or recruitment coordination role within a public sector organisation.
  • Experience supporting high-volume recruitment campaigns.
  • Confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including hiring managers and recruitment agencies.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Outlook and Teams).
